My Teaching Experience
Apart from research, I have acquired extensive teaching experience in a variety of topics during my Ph.D. studies at the University of Georgia. These topics cover both managerial and technical aspects in information systems. In Fall 2009, Fall 2011, and Fall 2012, I had full responsibility to teach the capstone undergraduate MIS course, Systems Analysis and Design (a total of 4 sections). In addition, in Spring 2011 I taught business intelligence and I will be teaching two sections of Java programming this Spring. My teaching evaluations for these courses have been very good (average 4.3/5) and I received very positive feedback from both my students as well as from faculty assessing my teaching performance.
In addition to what I have already taught, I can also readily teach database management, Introduction to Information Systems, and social media related courses. Though I do not have direct teaching experience in these topics, I have strong background knowledge and related skills that come both from my undergraduate degree in Information Systems, from my training at UGA, as well as from my research.
